Touch a Truck

On Saturday, John took Alec to a Touch a Truck event. It's where town and private trucks are available for kids to sit in, climb on and inspect. Alec went in a police car, firetruck, military Humvee, road roller and several others. There was only one truck that John was disappointed to not sit in himself.

Dance!

Alec went to a preschool dance on Friday night. He was mostly interested in the snacks until he and his friend Joey found a bunch of balloons with which to dance.

Start them early!

Someone gave Stella a Red Sox onesie, and Alec was so enamored he jammed himself into it.

Saturday's child works hard for a living

They were both born on Saturdays, and both took their sweet time, arriving a week late.

He's a wonderful big brother, so incredibly sweet and gentle.

Mother's Day

John and Alec treated me to a wonderful Mother's Day. I woke up to cards, presents and coffee in bed. Then we went fishing at a nearby pond where we fed ducks and admired turtles and tadpoles. Then, we went for ice cream before getting Mexican food for dinner. It was a fantastic day with my guys!
