Tonight at dinner

He's outraged now when you try feed him, wanting to be the one to wield the spoon. However, as the evidence will show, he'd surely starve if left to his own devices. Our solution for the time being (ie until he notices) is giving him his own spoon (or the fork he grabs from your hand) while feeding him with another.

Buddy: The Accessory

For St Patrick's Day on Monday, I took great and dorky pleasure in dressing Buddy and I similarly. Though we had different sweaters, we both wore brown slacks and green tops. What's a baby for if you can't dress him according to your whims?

Thanks to Grandpa, I'm the proud owner of a glorious new digital camera. Can you tell the difference with these new pictures? One major change - his eyes are now consistently open!

Random Buddy Friday

He's getting better and better with the spoon! His hands are still much more reliable in terms of getting it in his mouth, but the spoon gets pretty close.

When we checked on him last night, we saw he'd fallen asleep on top of his stuffed animals. We'd removed the elephant under his arm and the squirrel under his rump before I thought to get the camera. Poor giraffe. It was like he fell asleep mid body slam.

Picture Pages

He still enjoys being read to, but primarily just before bed. He's less interested in sitting still to hear a story the way he had been in the morning or evening. He does, however, enjoy taking the time to flip through a good book.

Bespoke Buddy, Savile Row

Wednesday morning. As you can see, no longer afraid of the clapping monkey.

Wednesday ready for play.

Thursday. LL Bean sweater. I want one in my size.

Smoochable cheek close up.

Today - Friday. He looks quite smashing if I do say so myself.
