First snow. He loved it! His snow pants made him waddle, and lay immobile on the ground when he fell, but he had a blast!


He takes great pride in setting the table! And he's so good at it, carefully placing the silverware, placemats and napkins.

Happy Two Years Old!!

Here he is on his birthday. We can hardly believe it's been two years since he arrived at 8:55pm one cold Saturday night. It's a strange combination of "can't believe it's gone by so quickly" and "feels like forever..." (Maybe that's just because he's sick right now?) It's impossible to imagine life before him or without him, and I'm grateful every single day that we get to care for him. He's exquisite.

He went as a pumpkin. He was pretty unpleased about putting on a costume, but when we took off the hat and he simply got to run around, he was thrilled.

In the morning he likes to take books with him to the high chair while he's waiting for his breakfast.

And brought Alec a beautiful shirt from India. We were thrilled it fit and looked so perfect on him. Thank you for such a lovely gift!

Buddy's picture includes a fuzzy line which gives him a larger jaw than he should have. With the suit, he almost looks like John McCain. Good thing we have him banging his fist on the table and chanting Obama! (It comes out as "O-MA-MA!")
