Grandpa heroically and adeptly managed the night shifts with Buddy: feeding him, comforting him, putting him to sleep, managing any diaper situations and no doubt smooching him. Buddy most preferred sleeping on the shoulder offered to him.

Both mom and dad are eternally greatful and well rested as a result.
